Audience tape - Final night of the tour - and a contender for one of the best ever - Last ever versions of "Action In The Streets" and last "Don't Look Back" for a long time (1999) as well as the last E ST Band version of "Higher and Higher". “Rosalita” includes the Miami Horns playing a snippet of “Auld Lang Syne” in the band introductions. A fan recalls "I saw the last three shows and they were definitely as good as it gets. We had no idea that Bruce was close to settling his legal problems, but it was clear that these were special. I remember 03/24 as being the hottest show but that may just be that it was the first one that featured Saint and Higher, both showstoppers."

Audience tape. Opening night of the Darkness On The Edge Of Town Tour. Includes the only ever live performance of "The Promise" with the full E Street Band until the Asbury Park Carousel web broadcast in 2010. This concert features the live debut of eight songs from Darkness On The Edge Of Town, all except "Factory" and "Something In The Night" (which had made its debut in 1976), and also features the full band version of "For You". "Prove It All Night" has a piano and guitar solo introduction - this will develop and expand throughout the tour, becoming a concert highlight. "Backstreets" has continued to evolve and the middle section contains the Sad Eyes interlude for the first time. "Paradise By The 'C'" premieres as the start of the second set which also includes another premiere - "Fire". A contributor to the Greasy Lake website recalls that Bruce read the lyrics to the last two songs from a piece of paper. Released on CDR "Opening Night In The Darkness" which also covers the soundcheck (including Billy Lee Riley's 1958 rockabilly cut "Is That All To The Ball, Mr. Hall") and "Go" (B Street).

A short, but sweet performance from the 'A Quick One' era. Townshend can be heard playing 12-string on a few tunes and they run through the set with almost no pause between numbers. One of the greatest Who bootlegs, truly a gem.

Notes: One of the best and most bootlegged Who shows from this era. It documents their transition from a "pop" band into hard rock jamming. Shakin' All Over is a very long jam that showcases PT's lead guitar styles and how well JAE is in tune to Pete's playing. Relax is another worthy psychedelic guitar jam. There are various versions of this show around that claim to be from different dates and slightly different set lists that at times omit Summertime Blues and / or the mini opera (A Quick One) and / or My Generation. Some claim to be from April 5, 1968, some from April 6, 1968 (taken from thewho.net).
