NOTES:
The Adelaide show was taped for a radio show (broadcast on 15 Jun 1964).
Recorded at Centennial Hall in Adelaide, Australia with Jimmy Nicol on drums.

The Melbourne show was recorded by Australian TV Channel 9 (broadcast on 1 July 1964). It was intended to last only 12-minutes (at the request of Brian Epstein) but when he saw the uncut tape, he was so pleased with the result that he extended it to 22 minutes. The viewers saw nine of the songs. This bootleg is missing "I Saw Her Standing There", "Till There Was You" and "Roll Over Beethoven" (the tape was slightly defective during these two latters songs and that's probably why they're omitted here).

Early this year, at a vinyl collectors FB group, I got in contact with somebody who used to tape shows in Texas during the late 70s and early 80s. He even mentioned that he was who taped the show of KISS in San Antonio, TX during the Dynasty Tour. I asked him if he could share a master tape transfer since the highly generated circulating copies weren't sounding very good. Even some copies were uncomplete, missing the encores....

After some months, Ronnie D. found the time to take care of a proper transfer. Sent me the raw wav files to make volume, balance and EQ adjustments. This is what you'll get here. The nicest possible audio of this concert. Of course, you can't expect miracles since it's an audience recording, but It's much better than previous copies and a nice and enjoyable concert.

"Italians to to Swtzerland", take 2! I was not supposed to upload this one, although the sound is fantastic and comes

from a 1st generation copy. But then I found on another tape the set from supporting act Helix and thought it would have

been a good package to offer here.



This is not my favourite Kiss period for me. I have always thought the band was a lot better in the 70's and by the time

they reached southern Europe, they were a bit on the lower curve.



However this is a very very good recording, almost excellent. If you love the 1983 tour, you will enjoy this one!

Here it is, the first known source from Gothenburg 1983 that was also the tape used

for the classic "The Tickler" vinyl bootleg. This is the master tape, taped by the

brother of mr KK Master so many thanks to both of them for taping and releasing the

tape.



It's the full show, really nice and clear sound, just a tad hissy. I did no EQ since

I prefer to have it sound natural. You be the judge yourself and do what you feel is

best.

THIS IS AN ALTERNATE SOURCE TO THE EXISTING circulated downloads of this show. It comes from a tape trade I made not soon after the tour ended.



A. The quality of this source is not as good as the more circulated version

B. You can hear the recorder or a close companion chearing along with the intro and throughout some of the early numbers is different than on the more circulated version.

C. This version contains the taped mecahanical mechanisms INTRO to the show before Paul gets on the mic and before the announcer.

D. This version contains Gene's bass solo which is missing on all versions of shows dated 3/9/84.



E. this version is missing the end of Black Diamond, Lick It up, and Rock And roll all night.

according to my tape trading list, i should have the last 10 minutes of the show somewhere but for the life of me can't find it on any of my cassettes.



So for now, here is an alternate source of the FIrst Night's show at Radio City in 1984. This one at least gives us the missing INTRO and BASS SOLO that are missing on the other source. Perhaps a good Matrix-ing of Source 1 FLAC, MP3, and Source 2 is in order to get us the perfect. complete show.



Also of note, this show is almost always mistaken for the second night's show and mis-labeled as such. If you have a show dated 3/10 you should make sure it is not the version where this show has been used with EXCITER added to the set to make it seem like its a different set. EXCITER was NOT played at the second show. I know, I was there.

THIS VERSION HOWEVER iS THE ACTUAL SECOND NIGHTS RECORDING. ALL OF PAUL'S RAPS ARE DIFFERENT AND HE REFERENCES IT BEING THE SECOND NIGHT ON MORE THAN ONE OCCASION. EXCITER WAS NOT PLAYED ON THE SECOND NIGHT AS RUMORED. I REMEMBER, I WAS THERE.



SO HERE AT LAST IS THE ACTUAL SECOND NIGHT RECORDING. IT IS MISSING ROCKAND ROLL ALL NIGHT ANF THAT IS THE WAY I GOT IT IN TRADE BACK IN THE 80's. IT IS ALSO MISSING THE TAPED INTRO OF MECHANICAL SOUNDS AND STARTS WITH PAUL GREETING THE AUDIENCE BEFORE THE INTRODUCTION.



IF ANYONE HAS THE COMPLETE VERSION OF THIS SHOW WHICH, IT WOULD BE GREAT TO HAVE, BUT MAKE SURE ITS NOT YET ANOTHER CIRCULATED COPY of THE 3/9 SHOW TRYING TO PASS ITSELF OFF AS THE SECOND NIGHT.

"Italians to to Swtzerland", take 2! I was not supposed to upload this one, although the sound is fantastic and comes

from a 1st generation copy. But then I found on another tape the set from supporting act Helix and thought it would have

been a good package to offer here.



This is not my favourite Kiss period for me. I have always thought the band was a lot better in the 70's and by the time

they reached southern Europe, they were a bit on the lower curve.



However this is a very very good recording, almost excellent. If you love the 1983 tour, you will enjoy this one!

Here it is, the first known source from Gothenburg 1983 that was also the tape used

for the classic "The Tickler" vinyl bootleg. This is the master tape, taped by the

brother of mr KK Master so many thanks to both of them for taping and releasing the

tape.



It's the full show, really nice and clear sound, just a tad hissy. I did no EQ since

I prefer to have it sound natural. You be the judge yourself and do what you feel is

best.
