Notes from the original taper, that's me:
The location was "Schulzentrum Saaler Muehle" in Bensberg (part of Bergisch Gladbach, near Cologne).
Originally this 2-days festival was planned as a Open Air in Cologne-Dellbrueck (2 kilometres away from Bensberg),
but in fact of bad weather it was held in this school.
27th and 28th July was the date, UFO played headliner for the first day:
together with Fly Dirt/ Stormy Monday/ Epitaph/ Birth Control/ Triumvirat/ Satin Whale/ Karthago/ Hardin&York
(no, I haven't taped the other groups).
The new UFO Band was phantastic, believe me.
We sat 2 metres from the stage, I was holding my mono-microphone (Cassette deck).
What happened with the 2nd half of the show?:
the quality was really bad and I delete it some times later (yes, I know: why??????..........).
I traded the 45 minutes cassette 2 or 3 times. About 10 years ago I digitalize it onto CD.
