John Fogerty has been a long time supporter of Hungerthon, donating signed guitars and other memorabilia to the event's annual charity auctions. As Fogerty has always been a social and political activist playing concerts for such causes as AIDs, Farm Aid, the Bridge School and Vote For Change, it's hardly surprising that today's post features him at yet another benefit show. This FM broadcast captures him on his home turf in Oakland, on November 26, 1989, 27 years ago today, raising funds to help the Bay Area recover from the devastating earthquake that hit the region a month earlier.
