16 bit version

Taper: Karl Lundmark
Gear: unknown
1st generation tapes mailed to }{eywood for mastering by Rush-Fan
Lineage: 2 TDK SA90 (2) and Maxell XLII 60 (1) cassettes > Optimus SCT-57 playback deck > Adobe Audition 1.5 (recording at 24/96, speed correction, peak limiting, splits & fades) > Xrecode II (conversion to 16/44.1) > TLH (sector alignment, flac 8)

Although this show may be circulating already, most collectors have unknown generation copies. Rush-Fan has provided me with many first gens of Priest shows (he traded with the taper), and I am dutifully bringing them to a wider audience.

This show received a bit of hiss reduction. The first tape was a second gen tape that showed some wear. Discussion with the collector concludes that the original first tape got eaten a couple of times, so he made a backup copy. The 2nd tape is a 1st gen. Because the hall was echoey I reduced some of the low mids to clarify the performance. Volume fluctuations not caused by mic movement have been smoothed out throughout.

This show is notable for the inclusion of Hot for Love in the setlist. Crap song, sure, but a genuine rarity.
