I’d been ‘introduced’ to this band by a friend at the time, who knew them pretty well. Possibly one of those ‘wrong place, wrong time’ acts, or at least that’s the way it felt to me. Late 80s / early 90s, there wasn’t too much demand in the U.K for a band with American AOR influences. My taste in music back then was somewhat heavier, though not a million miles away from some of their stuff and there was undoubtedly talent there. They released one, possibly two CDs (self-financed) and even supported Styx in the U.S (shown in the photo), getting encored to boot! I eventually lost touch, but did catch 2 of the band members some years later on a prime time ITV talent show, performing as Incahoots (if I remember the name correctly) playing something akin to swing / lounge music…very odd & probably best forgotten.

This live set was recorded on home turf for them. I captured it on a SONY DAT recorder (later transferred to tape). Probably one of the best recordings I ever made and virtually untouched. Setlist below. If someone can identify the first song in the medley, please clue me in. I’ve heard it before somewhere.
Additionally (in the .rar file), I’ve included their first (1992) album “Heart Still Beats”. Whilst only recorded in an 8-track studio, the sound is pretty decent. Track 3 “It Doesn’t Matter” being a particular favourite of mine. No copyright issues with that incidentally. Track listings are shown in the .rar.
